Last updated: September 10, 2026
Overview
KedmaneeKey is a Thai keyboard typing tutor for macOS. This policy describes how the app handles your information.
Data We Do Not Collect
KedmaneeKey does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no analytics, no crash reporting service, and no advertising. No data is sent to any server operated by the developer.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
The app stores the following data exclusively on your Mac using macOS system storage (UserDefaults):
- Your typing progress and lesson completion records
- Your student name (if entered)
- Your app preferences and settings
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to the developer.
Keyboard Input
The app monitors keyboard input solely within the app window to power the typing tutor. It does not monitor keystrokes in other applications, does not log what you type, and does not transmit keystrokes anywhere.
In-App Purchases
KedmaneeKey offers a one-time premium upgrade processed entirely by Apple. The developer does not receive or store your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy governs all purchase transactions: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Active Keyboard Detection
The app checks which keyboard input sources are active on your Mac to provide guidance about switching to the Thai keyboard layout. This check happens locally and is not reported to the developer.
Children’s Privacy
KedmaneeKey does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
